Code of Conduct & Virtual Etiquette
Students are expected to follow classroom norms, show respects to peers and teachers, and maintain focus and courtesy – especially in virtual settings where self-discipline and responsibility are key.
1 | Be Punctual & Prepared. Log in 2 minutes early with all necessary materials ready. Respect others’ time by being prepared. |
2 | Use Real Names & Appropriate Profile Photos. Maintain a professional identity in virtual spaces. |
3 | Students should keep their cameras on during live sessions unless excused. Backgrounds should be neutral and non-distracting. |
4 | Dress Modestly & Appropriately. Even in online settings, attire should reflect respect for the learning environment. |
5 | Mute When Not Speaking. Prevent background noise and maintain a focused atmosphere. |
6 | Use Respectful Language & Tone. Communicate with kindness and clarity, both verbally and in writing. |
7 | Stay Engaged & Avoid Multitasking. Give full attention to the lesson; avoid browsing, texting, or unrelated activities. |
8 | Raise Hand or Use Chat Respectfully. Participate thoughtfully and wait your turn to speak. |
9 | Respect Privacy & Do Not Record Without Permission. Protect classmates’ and teachers’ privacy. No sharing of personal information in chat or public forums. |
